When we wish and seek to help others, our attitude is more positive and relationships become easier. We are less afraid and have less anxiety. Otherwise we remain shy and hesitant, and feel the need to take a thousand precautions before we approach people. When our intentions are good, we have greater self-confidence and are stronger. This is how we learn to understand how precious and valuable kindness is.
Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
Many years ago a farmer in London had the misfortune to owe a huge sum to a money lender. The Moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the farmer's beautiful daughter. So he proposed a bargain. To live in the real world, is a very challenging play in our life. One must be very prepared that is strong enough to conquer fears and is always ready to overcome barriers in life. All birds find shelter during a rain. But the eagle avoids rain by flying above the clouds. Problems are common, but attitude makes the difference!
When you have good attitude, your biggest power will come once people underestimate you. Protect your enthusiasm from the negativity and fear of others. Never decide to do nothing just because you can only do little. Do what you can. You would be surprised at what "little" acts have done for our world.
It's hard not to feel overwhelmed in the vitamin aisle, with dozens of products claiming to boost energy, ease stress, and even extend your life. But don't assume that just any supplement can give you the confidence to start your day with a positive attitude. Let us not forget to take our tablets of joy, a boost of confidence, a drop of peace and a dose of love. Oh! and a little drop of sanity and serenity wouldn't hurt to carry us through our day as well.
And this is also what he takes Christian doctrine, in all its complexity, to be centrally about, that is, teaching an attitude rather than a set of propositions. Call it joyous openness to life. What's not relevant about that?
We're not meant to do it on our own. We're meant to do life with God and with each other. I've been fortunate to have friends that are willing to invest in me even on the days when I'm not able to invest back into them. I'm thankful for people that have that selfless attitude and have helped me become a successful person and a successful athlete.
