Lawyers can't tell you you can't do something. They can warn you about risks, and in extreme cases tell you that something is such a bad idea you'll need to get someone other than them to do it but the judgment call of whether the risk is worth it is the entrepreneur's.
By the time I was seventeen, I was on my way to Hollywood and didn't look back. My family is supportive now, but like any adult guardian of a seventeen-year-old daughter, they were not thrilled with my plan to run off to the LA to make it as an actress. Even a somewhat functioning parent would think that was a bad, bad idea. Lucky for me, I didn't listen to them.
I've literally opened it up to suggestions and it's totally chaotic and kind of a bad idea. You don't need the actual feedback to get a sense. When you're showing a song for the first time, people can feel that newness.
