If there's one lesson our generation should pass down to our children and grandchildren, it's to value quality over quantity in all aspects of life. Too much cheap food left us unhealthy. Girls get competitive, as though there's only one spot in the world for everything _ but that's not true. We need to stick together and see there's more to life than pleasing men. It's important not to cut yourself off from female friendships. I think sometimes girls get scared of other girls, but you need each other.
You get so much more out of life by being supportive and having loving friends who are there for you. Good friendships can make your heart light; it can make you feel giddy; it can make you feel like when you fall in love.
I think certain friendships have seasons, when you're closer with people when you're not, and so you can always have a relationship to someone or a group of friends that you don't necessarily have to work so hard to facilitate or to like maintain.
