Your existence has many doors and each serves a purpose, that ultimately helps define who you are. Sometimes it is hard to open these doors. Often you would think it just won't work. Seeds, caterpillars, and bees come before flowers, butterflies, and honey. They remind us of the beauty, transformation, and sweetness in life that follow the patience to grow, persistence in struggle, and diligent effort. Everything will be worthwhile one day.
Although we may want things to happen faster, or now, or even yesterday, sometimes things take more time to unfold, but will do so in their own time, at their own pace, eventually. Trying to force them to happen sooner will only lead to frustration. Once you’ve done all you can do, know when to practice patience.
It starts with a dream. Add faith, and it becomes a belief. Add action, and it becomes a part of life. Add perseverance, and it becomes a goal in sight. Add patience and time, and it ends with a dream come true.
And still it is not enough to have memories. One must be able to forget them when they are many, and one must have the great patience to wait until they come again. For it is not yet the memories themselves. Not until they have turned to blood within us, to glance, to gesture, nameless and no longer to be distinguished from ourselves - not until then can it happen that in a most rare hour the first word of a verse arises in their midst and goes forth from them.
