Gratitude is one of the strongest positive feelings. We all have something to be grateful for. If you are grateful for everything that you have, you will get more things to feel gratitude for. And this feeling makes you feel good. At the end of the day when I crawl into bed and all the lights go out, my thoughts can finally rise to the surface. Yes, I’m a little bruised, slightly broken, and permanently scarred but I’m still here aren't I? I’m still fighting, I’m still waking up everyday to go through it all over again. This life may be hard as hell but it’s still a gift and I’m going to live every moment of it.
The purpose of life is to watch and experience living. To enjoy living every moment of it. And to live in environments, which are calm, quiet, slow, sophisticated, elegant. Just to be. Whether you are naked or you have a golden robe on you, that doesn't make any difference. The ideal purpose of your life is that you are grateful - great and full - that you are alive, and you enjoy it.
Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
